I have felt utterly helpless, these past weeks, and a lot of the past year and a half, for that matter. Most of the “what you can do to help” suggestions come down to donating time and/or money, and... well, I don’t have a lot of either, but I do have a lot of beads and wire and I’m fast with my hands and I have a lot of customers who appreciate social justice and/or a good visual geeky pun.

So. Here you go. The pretty blue stripey things are , and I have a lot of them and can get more as needed. (In a lot of different values, so if you want a specific one, ask and I’ll see if I have it.) $10 from every pair will be donated to organizations doing work on the ground with whatever crisis seems the most urgent at the moment. I have enough of this particular combination of beads to make at least 15 pairs of earrings. If these sell out (and I sincerely hope they do) I’ll come up with new combinations. I’ll track how many pairs I sell each month and make a donation at the end of each month and post a photo of the donation receipt for accountability.
