This device is not for GPS/Locaton tracking and will not tell you your child's location, it is a fun communicative device, to serve as a stepping stone for your kids eventually owning a dedicated smart phone.
The device requires a 2G/GSM Sim Card for networks in the UK, Ireland and other regions with a still active GSM network infrastructure.
