A hand-carved and sculpted frame heart and stylized flames. Cast in recycled bronze with an antiqued patina, set with found image ephemera - detail from the Flora Tapestry by William Morris & Edward Burne-Jones- under iridescent glass. Backed with antiqued and painted birch bark with a pyrography infinity symbol detail. (sealed for preservation, but please keep dry) Adorned with a round labradorite bead.
This sacred heart amulet measures @ 1 1/8 inches at widest, just over @ 2 inches long and hangs on an 18" inch oxidized bronze/brass chain. Can be worn shorter.
